Lanercost Priory Video

Having already written about the historic village of Lanercost, its wonderful priory and Hadrian's Wall nearby, I thought you might want to share in this Lanercost Priory video. It offers a taste of the special atmosphere of the place. Centuries may have passed but the sun still sets in the same way, its golden glow reflected from the priory's stained glass windows.

Lanercost Priory

Lanercost Priory is a great place to visit if you are interested in English history. The church is still used by the local community for worship and the priory ruins are looked after by English Heritage. A place which has seen both war and peace in its time with visits from King Edward I, William Wallace and Robert The Bruce.
